Jacqueline M. Priego, Writer, Creator, Co-Director & Actress, PinkSlipped

Jacqueline Priego is the writer, creator, co-director and actress of PinkSlipped, a web series. Priego’s passion for social justice and women’s rights manifested itself in the form of PinkSlipped which she debuted in the fall of 2018. The show, PinkSlipped, follows the lives of three Latinx best friends navigating their careers while coming to terms that they are greater than the sum of their stifling jobs, self-sabotage, and cultural stereotypes.

To date, Jacqueline and the show have been interviewed and featured in multiple publications including The Washington Post’s The Lily, Remezcla, The Chicago Tribune, Modern Brown Girl, ABC 7 News Chicago, WGN TV News, Vocalo, XM Sirius Woke AF, We are Bold Latinas and The Mujerista.
Jacqueline is currently promoting and screening PinkSlipped in various markets including Chicago, Los Angeles and Atlanta with more screenings to be announced. She is also working on writing and developing Season 2 of PinkSlipped while also writing a new age film about the Latinx experience in the United States.
